# Mark as resolved

> Close conversations after your agent successfully addresses user requests

# Mark as resolved

Use the mark as resolved tool to close conversations after the agent has successfully addressed the user's request.

## How it works

When triggered, this tool updates the conversation status to resolved in your dashboard. This helps you track completed interactions and maintain a clean conversation history.

## When to use it

Mark conversations as resolved when:

* The agent has answered the user's question
* A support request has been fulfilled
* A task or issue has been completed
* No further action is needed

## Configuration

Enable the mark as resolved tool in your agent's **Tools** settings. Once active, the agent can use it automatically when appropriate or on explicit user request.
